Me receiving souvenir from MusrafiThe weather was perfect this afternoon, and we were at the center of attraction today at Miri City Council field, must have had over thousands of spectators watching us playing between 2pm to 6pm, though 99% were just passing by in their vehicles, haha. :-)
Hopefully, with more events like this and the ongoing Miri fast Pitch League, Softball will become a more popular sport in Miri City. Incidentally, an expat approached me to enquire about his interest in joining, and he was promptly recruited by Syed for sunset Batters, we have yet to settle on the introducing fees. ;-)
Yes ! we all had good fun playing against Knights today, and we made more new friends from Kaula Belait. Special thanks to Musrafi and his team-mates, we are also hoping to go to KB to have friendly match with you guys in the near future.
